    Regional PMEAL Advisor and Manager Business Development and Communications

    Shyvonne works as PMEAL advisor to Cordaid Country Offices in the East and Southern Africa Regions. She supports country-based staff with capacity strengthening in PMEAL related areas and compliance with both internal and external PMEAL standards. She also provides supports in country to activities such evaluations and other assessments. In Ethiopia, Shyvonne leads the Business Development and Communications unit, which us responsible for coordinating and implementing all fundraising activities including relationship management, partner engagement, lead identification, proposal writing, and adherence to internal and external requirements. Shyvonne furthermore leads the implementation of Cordaid Ethiopia’s visibility strategy including content and media generation, management, publication and dissemination.

    Polite is seasoned Public Health professional and Results Based Financing Expert with 15 years’ experience in both INGOs and Government Health Sector. He has 9 years of experience in the field of Health Systems Strengthening & Strategic Purchasing specifically in Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Uganda and Liberia. He has strong experience of Results Based Financing programing both local and international levels.

She is passionate about identifying, developing and maintaining strong relationships with funders, local and international implementing partners and other relevant stakeholders.

    Boboh Kamangira

    PBF Data Expert

    Boboh has eight years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and research of health systems strengthening programmes including HIV/AIDS, TB, cervical cancer and PBF. He is passionate about data science and data systems as applied in M&E and research, particularly in the public health space. He tends to focus more on the synthesis of evidence to support decision making and policy formulation. Boboh believes in measuring what matters.

    Eubert Vushoma

    PBF Expert

    Eubert Vushoma is the Performance Based Financing (PBF) expert responsible technical supporting PBF in health and education in Ethiopia. Eubert has a PGD Health Economics (UCT), MBA (UZ), and BSC Mathematics and Statistics (UZ). He joined Cordaid in Zimbabwe in 2013 and left briefly to join Oxford Policy Management (OPM) Nigeria in 2015 before re-joining Cordaid in 2018. He joined Cordaid Ethiopia in October 2021 from the Cordaid Sierra Leone Country office where he was based and leading the Liberia project office. Eubert has PBF experience in Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Liberia and Ethiopia.

    Workneh is  a very well experienced  financial management and accounting professional with over 15 years of experience in INGOs, governmental organization. His experience includes  preparing  program budgets and producing financial manuals. He has been trained and experienced on PBF financial management in multiple Performance Based Financing projects within Cordaid on budgeting, costing, managing, controlling, and reporting to donor.

    Illile Bekele is a dedicated programme personnel in coordination, partner management and implementation of humanitarian and development programmes for over ten years. She inherently appreciates to be there for people in difficult situations. Her interest is to contribute more to the areas of disaster management and resilience building that creates a safer condition for affected people.

    Rebecca is a professional in finance and management with more than 25 years of experience both in private organizations and international NGOs in the field of office administration and financial management. With this vast experience she got a chance to develop her knowledge and skills by working in various donor funded projects with different INGOs like EU, ECHO, USAID and UNOCHA.

    Habtamu Worku has more than 15 years experiences in INGO, government and private companies where he applies strong logistics and shipping expertise to provide guidelines and recommendations to achieve objectives. Through the years, he has built and maintained strong relations with customers and logistic suppliers. Moreover his supply chain service delivery and emergency response knowledge and experience are great assets to Cordaid and implementing partners.

    Tadesse has a professional experience in Coordinating, managing and implementing different Donnor projects such as Kinder not Helf (Better future for children project),  EU and Oxfam GB(Soaring food prices in Ethiopia project), Supporting cooperative transformation ( SOS Faim), Integrated chilled welling project(Terres des hommes Netherlands), Food security and rural entrepreneurship (FSRE)(ICCO cooperation),Learn for work (Edukans foundation) and I have been working as master trainer for Save the children youth potential project and Rural Saving and credit cooperatives.

    Teklebirhan Hailu is the Resilience and livelihoods programme officer/ expert for  Cordaid Ethiopia, Responsible in planning, coordinating, providing technical support for effective implementation of multi-sector projects. Teklebirhan has BSC in Natural Resource Management (Jimma University ) with over 11 years experience in NGOs (7 years in Cordaid). He has  extensive experience  in the field of  resilience livelihood, Agriculture, Watershed and Natural Resource Management,  DRR and Climate Change Adaptation, Small ScaleIrrigation,  Integrated Risk Management, Conflict Risk Reduction  interventions Teklebirhan has skills in the capacity building of local  organizations , province and woreda level government staffs on Resilience livelihood, Climate Smart Agriculture, Integrated watershed development planningNRM, CMDRR & CCA , Agroforestry and irrigation and Conflict Risk Analysis, Conflict resolution and Complaint and response handling Mechanisms.

She graduated from Addis Ababa University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in organizational leadership. Sena has certifications in graphic design, photography, content creation, web development, institutional funding, report writing, skill development and others. She is a passionate content creator who enjoys working on virtual communication through different platforms and technology. Sena always have a talent for creative expression through design and photography, which she was able to channel through her volunteer work and her regular assignments. She also volunteers in humanitarian, development, and youth organizations in her spare time. Outdoor activities, nature, technology, photography, advocacy, and leadership are all things she enjoys.
